Ludo Game Rules
Ludo is a strategy board game for 2-6 players, where the objective is to race your pawns from start to finish according to dice rolls.
Basic Rules:
- Each player has 4 pawns that start in their home yard.
- To move a pawn out of the home yard, you need to roll a 6.
- If you roll a 6, you get another turn.
- Pawns move clockwise around the board according to the dice roll.
- When a pawn completes a full circuit, it enters the final lane of its color.
- To win, you must get all 4 pawns to the center of the board.
Capturing Pawns:
- If your pawn lands on a square occupied by an opponent's pawn, the opponent's pawn is captured and returns to its home yard.
- You cannot capture a pawn that is on a safe square (colored squares).
Safe Squares:
- Colored squares are safe zones where pawns cannot be captured.
- Your home yard and final lane are also safe zones.
Winning:
- The first player to get all 4 pawns to the center wins the game.
- Pawns must reach the center with an exact dice roll.
